Christina Mathieson embodies the spirit of entrepreneurship and social responsibility, guiding others to dream big and pursue their goals with determination. As a seasoned real estate professional, educator, and coach, Christina brings a wealth of experience and passion to every endeavor.

In her role as a Residential Solar Expert, Realtor, Loan Officer and Educator, Christina leverages her business acumen to excel in marketing and pricing residential properties, with a particular focus on high-performing and solar-powered homes. She is deeply committed to advancing green real estate initiatives and has developed innovative programs like “Becoming A Solar Specialist,” which educates real estate professionals and communities on the benefits of residential solar power and energy efficiency in real estate transactions.  Christina is most excited about educating the real estate community and homeowners alike on Renovation Loans that allow homeowners to include energy efficient upgrades, including owned solar energy systems, in a purchase or refinance mortgage.  The idea of compromising the ownership and transferability of our homes with a solar lease is extremely disturbing to her.

Transitioning from a successful career in solar executive positions, Christina has dedicated herself to empowering homeowners to control their home operating costs. As a Real Estate Instructor licensed in New York and New Jersey, she has trained over 3,000 real estate agents and brokers on managing solar power within real estate transactions, demonstrating her commitment to industry education and innovation.

Christina’s accolades speak volumes about her impact and dedication. She has been honored with prestigious awards such as the National Association of Realtors’ 2019 Ever Green Award and has been recognized as one of Long Island Business News’s “Top 50 Women In Business” multiple times. Additionally, she holds certifications as a LEED Green Associate, John Maxwell Certified Speaker, Coach, and Trainer, and Jack Canfield Certified Success Principles Trainer, among others.

Beyond her professional achievements, Christina is deeply involved in community service and advocacy. She served on the Suffolk County Women’s Advisory Commission, advising on legislative issues concerning women and families. As the Executive Director of “You’ll Be OK Too, Inc.,” a nonprofit organization she founded after her battle with breast cancer, Christina is dedicated to supporting others facing similar challenges and raising awareness about the disease through her documentary of the same name.

When she’s not making a difference professionally or in her community, Christina finds joy and fulfillment in spending time with her family, including her husband Jose, her children, stepchildren, and grandchildren, who are the heart and soul of her life.
